86400 seconds=1440 minutes=24 hours=1 day
it passes so quickly..
happy birthday to me, but it's already over before the fact has sank in.
right now my head is filled more with, GEMs, CORS and bidding rather than birthday cakes.

went down to school today for registration with belinda... what a loooong day!! it would have been shorter if they hadn't been so particular.
i mean i'd appreciate an advance warning like: people who do not come during their allocated time will not be entertained.
yup, i do agree that it's spastic not to come at the right time. then again, for everything else that involves coming down to school, everyone is not coming down at the right time! there's people from like, everywhere...
*sigh*
ps. i'll never buy doughnuts again unless they come in an easy-to-carry box.
period.

on closer examination, i've realised my lifestyle is kind of unhealthy. haven't been doing much lately besides going to tuition classes and playing games. so yup, haven't got much (any) exercise recently. unless you count running after buses and screaming at kids as exercise. -.- been eating quite unhealthily too. not enough fruits and veg!
lets see, there's the snacks that my kids occasionally give me... remember these? we used to them when we were little. in case you're wondering, i ate the whole packet my kids gave me on the way home.

yup, precursor to diabetes.
then there's also greasy food, which i unfortunately have been eating qute a bit of. like this breakfast set! no i didn't eat it for breakfast , but for dinner at around 8!! it was listed in the menu as diet-friendly (ie. less grease, more healthy) but how un-oily can a fry-up be?

and this lovely shokudo seafood pizza which i shared with my sis!! there's nothing remotely sinful about the pizza, except that i also had a plate of mentaiko pasta to go with it. Mentaiko pasta is pasta with cod roe and cream sauce.

or this pork-chop bun i had with milk tea during lunch with sista on monday! it wasn't too unhealthy, just that it was so small that we had to go get something else more filling. we ended up at soup spoon with clam chowder.

*sigh* so much for trying to stay healthy... i think i need to be dragged to the gym or something. before my arteries start getting blocked.

name: eunice
current obsession: PSP.
it isn't something new right? it's just jumping from one console to another -.-
sigh. i'm reminded of gp class when mrs wee quoted an author who said that human beings are sad ,pathetic creatures because we depend too much on machines and technology. we depend on them for almost everything, ya? think of climbing 15 storeys worth of stairs if we didn't have lifts, or having no cars, trains or buses! we even depend on machines for entertainment... we watch tv and movies, cannot live without our computers and consoles! (ok, i'll admit i can't live without my consoles -.-)
maybe we really are kind of sad...

was packing my drawers and looked through my old diaries and drawing books that were like buried deep inside for the last 5 years or so. they made me recall some things in the past...
like:
----> drawing on the underside of my bed after moving to sengkang (so that my mum wouldn't find out) with crayons and chalk... earlier i went to check, and they were still there!! hopefully she doesn't decide to vacuum the area -.-|||
----> terrorising the smaller kids in the playground. to quote myself, 12 years ago: he's so bai chi (chinese for idiotic) his sister also. they can't catch me because i am faster can hide downstairs.
it's not grammatically correct, but you get the idea...
----> the time when my p1 chinese teacher scolded me for not doing xi zi(penmanship) again. i can still vaguely remember telling her " mummy said you cannot beat me, it you touch me i tell mummy and you will say bye bye to school"
the passage in my diary cum drawing book was quite scary! i really had no idea i knew how to write si lao shi (bloody teacher) and wang ba dan (bastard!) in chinese at p1.
suddenly i think that i was a little terror then. hopefully my kids won't turn out like me. it'll seriously be retribution! *SHUDDERS*
