it's bright, sunny and warm outside... typical singaporean weather (:
it would be great right now to hop into a tank top and shorts or a bikini and hit the beach for some serious action, like playing touch rug, volleyball, kayaking etc.
reality bites, but then again since when did it not? lols.
i'm currently in the school comp lab trying to
a) let the cold table nurse my poor aching head after i fried my brains in school especially during maths today
b) clear my mind before it's lost to inter and intra-molecular hydrogen bonding, dipole moments, trigonal bipyramidal molecules and what not.
c) help da ma print some pw documents...
the two of us are so blur and managed to reverse the order of ONE SIDE of the double side printing-.-
in other words, the 1st EVEN page is on the back of the LAST ODD NO. page. so we had to reprint some stuff..In the end, i didn't get to finish blogging, which is why i'm typing these last few sentences at home after my nap.

somehow, today i woke up feeling different. throughout breakfast i was wondering if i'd done anything special.
perhaps it was because i finally found out how to jump onto that shit called the Bevelle Gaol after running about aimlessly in the Underground for ages(2 out of 5 chapters)
it definitely wasn't the wrong side of the bed because my bed is against the wall...
strange.
for once i'm feeling quite energetic in the morning. and after talking for a while to myself( ie. the voice in my head) i've reached a consensus.
my life needs a change. i think i'll start by chucking junk, amongst studying for the looming common tests.
junk= all the crap, of which some i thought should keep but is actually pretty useless.
That includes erm pri sch worksheets, fliers and coupons which are wayyy expired, used paper, sec 4 geog june holiday homework worksheet(ugh. 20 essay questions), thoughts that i can still slowly study for common test, depression, recent addiction to chick lit, a particular someone whom i should have thrown out a looooong time ago, and rusty beading pliers.
ok, that's alot of stuff to be done. though doing this seems better than say, dative bonding and molecule shapes. *shudders*

today i fell in the lift... *ouch* well, for no apparent reason i thought, until i examined my shoes -.-
was talking to jasper along the way home, so probably din notice whatever slippery stuff i stepped on. thankfully there wasn't anyone in the lift, otherwise it would have been super embarassing.
like yesterday when i had a really bad experience in a supermarket... i think the people in the mall now probably think that all saints can really scream and are crazy.
well... i was accused of stealing.
was in sch earlier to empty my locker, so was luggging an extra bagpack which i left in sch. it was super heavy and i wasn't feeling too well too...
the store was pretty chaotic due to renovation and i couldn't find most of the stuff my mum asked me to buy (why else would i be in a supermarket alone??) so i was super sian and kind of pissed alr.
so when he accused me of stealing i guess i just blew my top and screamed at him in public. ugh. was so super pissed and wasted my time. ugh.
that really sucks. thankfully i don't shop there often.

phew finally managed to kick my bro off the seat and hijack the terminal. :D
returned from taiwan at 11plus almost 12 midnight on the 6th. somehow fell sick so only managed to post something like now...
*woot* taiwan was fun!! then again, getting out of singapore to anywhere would probably be so -.- was there for 7 days so it was pretty much a mad dash around.it has alot of mountains in the central part of the island, little flat land, alot of mountain roads and tunnels. colonised(occupied?) by the japanese for 60 years.
some memorable places?
1. shilin night market 士林夜市
The first place we went to upon arrival. Food's really great (: i love food, so yay (: besides searching in vain for the chicken cutlet which the market is famous for, we tried 棺材板. roughly translated it means coffin plank.
As morbid as it sounds its bascially just a really thick piece of toast with a small indent and filled with stuff like meat, prawns etc. My bro was fighting with me for it because it tastes really good.
lols. also had the 大饼包小饼 which is a crepe within a crepe and 珍奶 which is milk tea with pearls. Somehow theirs just tastes so much nicer.
2. Coastal highway, jiu fen and the yin yang sea 滨海公路,九份和阴阳海
the highway's along the coast(duh.) and the shoreline's great. on one side you have the sea cliffs and the blue pacific ocean that just seems to stretch on and on. really 一望无际.
On the other side there's toowering mountains. it's not advisable to try and see the tops bacause, one, you'll strain your eyes as there's alot of fog. two you'll strain your neck. :D
Jiu fen is a district on the mountain on which you can see the view of the ocean and what's downslope. Breathtaking view...
ying yang sea is a place along the highway. dun have a pic of it, but i'm sure you can find it online. the seawater is really seperated into two sections in two colours naturally. it's due to the minerals washed down from the mountain slopes, i think.
3. swallow's mouth and the east-west mountain highway 燕子口& 东西横贯公路
yan zi kou is a place in the taroko national park with once again, breathtaking view.
this is the first time in my life i've ever seen something in a physical geog textbook(besides maybe soil creep -.-) the lower course all the way up to the upper course of a river, all cut into the rocks (大里石)The air is fresh and cooling, plus its really quiet, so besides the occasional tourist, its what i'd call a 世外桃源
4. feng jia night market 峰甲夜市
was super crowded, but a good place to shop. honestly, if my mum weren't there, i'd probably have excess baggage at the airport. :D
the clothes there are on the kawaii or japanese( think tights and layers) side, so if you absoultely abhor lace, frills and polka dots then please don't shop there. thankfully there are some that are on the relatively tame side.
visited alot more places, but too many to list down.
one thing to note is to always bring an umbrella. dunno whether it's always like that, but out of the 7 days we were there.... the only day where there was sunshine was thurs. *shudders*
also, the traffic there is... erm lets just say that if you can sucessfully drive in taiwan, you can probably drive anywhere on the planet. lols.
unlike our pasar malams which are along the road with the pavement in front, in taiwan where you're walking or browsing at stalls IS THE ROAD ITSELF though it doesn't look like one. :D
oh well, just look before you put your foot forward. (:
